They discuss his background in Alaska, which includes being born in Nome before statehood, moving to Seward, the Alaska Native Settlement Claims Act (ANCSA), his work background, that included being the mayor of Seward and a commissioner for Governor Wally Hickel, why he is running for the U.S. Senate, campaign finance reform, and some Alaska history.
